Job Requirements are as follows:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, interpreting and managing projects through all phases of development including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. They work directly with Principal and serve as second in command on the project. They manage the day-to-day needs of the project through completion, and the DDA teams producing those projects.

The Project Manager must demonstrate their experience and knowledge in all aspects of these phases. They need to know and understand the contractual liabilities as they relate to architects, owners and projects including fee calculations.

It is essential for the Project Manager to have Client management skills, know how to create work plans, monitor team production schedules, and demonstrate negotiation expertise.

This position must have leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple projects while consistently achieving high standards and goals. Proven experience in motivating and inspiring others is essential. Presentational skills are required.

Travel is mandatory.

Project Managers work in all phases of the project. A strong, comprehensive knowledge of CAD documentation and standards, product resources, CD permit drawing preparation and FF&E Specifications is required for this position.

This position deals directly with client’s agents and sub contractors, answering all project related questions on work provided by mid and junior staff (FF&E) including purchasing agent, contractors and installers.

Technical Skills

11. Knowledge of Hospitality Industry and terminology.
12. Knowledge of what is ‘Hot’ and monitors new trends in design.
13. Review and approve letters and correspondence with client/stakeholders.
14. Closely monitor project financials, timesheets, and job status reports, tracking deliverables against time spent to date.
15. Schedule team and develop work plans for projects. Assigns tasks and hours to each individual and completion schedules.
16. Fully participate in concept/story development and then track changes, ensuring quality of finished product is not compromised.
17. Review and redline all documents produced on project ensuring content is thorough and accurate.
18. Controls email file daily.
19. Maintains project management binder with reports and notes.
20. Trains and mentors staff members.
21. Highly organized and systematic
22. Maintain billable hour level on a weekly basis.
